Why choose Monadnock PC over large companies like Dell or HP for your new computer?
Price: While not always the case, a lot of the time our builds, using the same specs, can actually be less expensive than ordering from large manufactures (some times by hundreds of dollars!) We can also use the most up-to-date pricing since we order parts when you order your build and can take advantage of price decreases over time.
Flexibility: Large manufactures have a standard set of builds that they offer that may or may not fit your needs. Monadnock PC builds computers to order to get you the exact specs you need. We also don’t add massive markups when you want a small change or want to add more storage or RAM.
Parts Quality: A lot of the parts used in products by large manufactures are custom built for just them; by doing this they can save a lot of money by cutting any corner they can and limit compatibility. Monadnock PC uses parts made by companies that stand behind their products, including: Gigabyte, MSI, Asus, Corsair, XFX, Seasonic, EVGA, and more. (See Warranties.)
Upgrade and Repair: Large manufactures use a lot of proprietary parts, making repairs more expensive and limiting upgrade paths. Monadnock PC uses standard form factor parts that are readily available and easy to replace or upgrade when needed.
Warranties:
Labor Warranty: We offer a 1 year warranty on all labor, as long as the parts failure occurred with normal, intended use of your computer (not, say, because you spilled coffee on it or dropped it).
Parts & Component Warranty: Unlike other companies which offer a 1 year whole parts warranty, when working with Monadnock PC you will enjoy the actual full warranty period that comes with each individual component. Individual parts may have a 1, 3, 7, or even a 12-year warranty (such as with power supplies made by Seasonic).
